Hi, I'm Chase
I've been doing hair for over two decades, and I still love the moment someone sees their new color in the mirror for the first time. I'm a Master Hair Stylist and Color Specialist, and I trained both here in the US and abroad. Those years taught me technique, but they also taught me to listen before I ever pick up a brush.
Why I Started Cut2theChase
I founded Cut2theChase Salon so I could do hair the way I believe it should be done: honest, personal, and built around you. Maybe you want soft, lived-in balayage. Maybe you need a color correction you've been nervous about, or a clean cut you can style in five minutes. Either way, we start with a real conversation about your hair, your routine, and your budget.

Chase has been cutting my hair since I moved to Austin about eight years ago. I found him by chance but have stayed with him on purpose. He always does a great job especially when I just don’t know what I want. He’s helped me transition through various styles and even to my natural gray. And yes, ladies you can still look fabulous when you get a great cut.

I have been going to Chase for over ten years for color, cut and style. He is fabulous at what he does and is consistent year over year. He will assess what outcome you’re looking for at the onset of each visit, clarify and get started. He also will make suggestions if you’re looking for a change. Chase is very customer centric and you will be happy with your hair every time.
I have been to many stylists in my life and Chase is hands down the best. I’ve been seeing him for about six years now which is the longest I’ve been with any stylist. The reason is his talent and consistency. I find that many stylists will be good for a while then either through complacency or lack of interest they don’t do my hair as well. He has done my color and cuts at the highest level the entire time. He listens to what I ask and checks to make sure I’m happy. He also stays educated on the latest trends and products. He genuinely loves what he does and takes it very seriously. He’s fantastic.
Chase is the first colorist I’ve ever met that truly gets red hair. The comments I get from friends and even strangers let me know that the color is gorgeous and strangers assume it’s natural. Chase makes excellent use of both highlights and lowlights to bring depth to my hair and the cut adds body and volume.
